About these terms and who we are

Muse is an AI fashion and beauty companion, available on the web at app.musefashion.me and as a mobile app, with a marketing site at musefashion.me. Muse is operated by Cipherer Ltd, a UK company. These terms are the agreement between you and us whenever you use Muse, and we have written them in plain English on purpose.

By creating an account or using Muse you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@musefashion.me and a real person will reply.

Early access

Muse is in early access. It is being actively built by a small team, access is by invitation only, and the service is free of charge during early access.

Because Muse is a work in progress:

We take care with your content, but please use Muse knowing it is still under construction.

Your account

Signing in is passwordless. You enter your email address and we send you a 4-digit one-time code from no-reply@musefashion.me. No passwords exist and none are stored.

Because your email inbox is the key to your account:

If you think someone else has used your account, contact us at hello@musefashion.me straight away.

Your content

Your photos and your details belong to you. They always will.

By using Muse you give us permission to store and process your content, including your wardrobe and outfit photos and the profile details you choose to add, only to provide the service to you and consistent with our Privacy Policy. Your photos are never made public, never shared with third parties, and never used to train AI models.

Please only upload photos you have the right to use. If a photo includes someone else, make sure they are happy for you to upload it.

Style and beauty guidance

The looks and guidance Muse creates for you are AI-generated personal styling suggestions. They are there to inspire and to save you time, not to replace professional advice. They are not medical, dermatological, or allergy advice.

Acceptable use

Muse is for your personal use. Please do not:

If an account is used in these ways, we may suspend or close it.

Ending access

You can ask us to delete your account at any time, and we will. Your information is then handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. And because Muse is in early access, we may need to withdraw, pause, or reset the service while we build. If that happens, we will let you know where we reasonably can.

Our liability

During early access Muse is provided as is, free of charge, and we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error free.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to what is fair and reasonable for a free, early-access service.

Changes to these terms

As Muse grows, these terms will need to grow with it. If we make a meaningful change we will let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. The date shown with these terms tells you when they were last updated, and continuing to use Muse after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If a dispute arises, you can bring proceedings in the courts local to you anywhere in the UK.

Questions about these terms are always welcome at hello@musefashion.me.
