Cookie Policy
Last updated 11-06-2026
The short version
Muse does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or tracking cookies. None at all. The only things stored on your device are the essentials the app needs to work, and none of it is used to track you or shared for advertising.
What cookies and similar storage are
Cookies are small pieces of data a website saves on your device so it can remember things between visits, like the fact that you are signed in. Apps and browsers have close cousins of the cookie too: browser storage on the web and secure storage on a phone. They all do the same simple job, which is giving software a small memory. This policy covers all of them.
What Muse stores and why
- A session token that keeps you signed in, so you do not have to enter a code every time you open Muse. It lives in secure storage in the mobile app and in browser storage on the web.
- Small pieces of working memory the app needs to function properly.
That is the full list. Everything Muse stores is essential to making the app work, and UK rules do not require consent for essential storage. That is why you will not see a cookie banner on Muse, there is simply nothing to consent to.
A note on fonts
Muse's typefaces are served by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser fetches the font files from Google's servers, and like any web request that means Google's servers see the requesting IP address. This sets no cookies for tracking, and Muse does not use it to track you in any way.
How to clear stored data
- On the web, clear site data for app.musefashion.me in your browser settings. This signs you out, and you can sign back in with a fresh code whenever you like.
- On mobile, signing out removes your session token, and deleting the app removes everything Muse stored on your device.
If this ever changes
If Muse ever needs to store anything beyond the essentials described here, we will update this policy first, before any change takes effect. Questions are always welcome at hello@musefashion.me.
